Pasadena’s historic Chapel of Roses is the worship center of THE CHAPEL at Pasadena. Like many churches, we rent our worship facility to others for their wedding ceremonies and receptions, even if they don’t attend our church.
We are part of a multi-denominational association, which means that people from a wide variety of Christian traditions attend our church and get married at our chapel. As a Christian church, we do require that any ceremonies held at our chapel be Christian in nature, the historic Christian and Biblical definition of marriage as the legal, spiritual union of one man and one woman, done in a covenant before God, as a picture of Christ and his bride, the church.
